STH Japan Open Golf 2020
STH Japan continues to make the memorable unforgettable by launching their first standalone golf event.
On Friday 27th November, the day started bright and early as guests were welcomed to a champagne breakfast at Haruna no Mori Country Club. A continental style breakfast with unlimited champagne and mimosas was on offer to get the players fuelled up for the day ahead.

It was a crisp autumn day, but nothing could take away the stunning views this golf course had to offer. Jack Nicklaus outdid himself when he designed this masterpiece. The layout is beautifully manicured from tee to green, and the clubhouse is exquisite yet warm and welcoming.

Before the competition kicked off, guests were invited to an exclusive putting masterclass by four-time LPGA Champion, Chihiro Nakajima. She showed the players all her top tips and tricks to get the best score of the day.

Once the tee off had been triggered, the individual groups sectioned off to their starting hole and the competition began. As a bonus, gourmet food and beverage service were provided throughout the day on the golf course.

Throughout the golf course, the guests competed for Jack’s challenge on hole one, longest drive on hole seven and lastly nearest to the pin on hole 13 with the support of our special guests Chihiro Nakajima and ex-pro Yuuki Yamana.

Once the players had finished up on the golf course, it was time for the post-round hospitality and prize ceremony to kick off. A delicious range of modern Japanese and international food concepts were offered, partnering with specially selected wines, premium beers, and soft drinks for all.

Our MC for the day, Melanie Brock delivered the announcements and awards which totalled 18 prizes. Prizes included a Weber portal gas grill, a two-night stay at Hilton Hotel, and a TaylorMade caddy bag.
Thank you to Christian Dior, Club 360, DHL, Eastwood Country Club, Elana Jade, Flightscope, Hilton, Jarman International K.K, Red Bull, Reiwa Golf Resort, Tokyo American Club, Tokyo International Golf Academy and Weber who made this event possible.
